ARE YOU A COLLEGE STUDENT looking to get a head start on your career or know someone who is? CoServ has spots available for interns this summer in a variety of jobs and specialties.

CoServ is the third-largest electric cooperative in the country in one of the fastest-growing regions. If you combine our electric meters with our natural gas distribution company, we’re closing in on 500,000 total meters!

Last summer, CoServ had four interns working in Information Technology jobs and one working in Operations. Two of the interns were hired by CoServ after their internship.

University of Texas at Dallas junior Noel Chacko worked in Client Services, the team responsible for keeping Employee computers operating efficiently.

“I helped everywhere in Client Services, I’m answering calls, helping people with their issues, deploying devices to people,” Noel said. “I helped set up computers around the building.”

Eileen Luloh interned in the Integrated Data & Analytics team for the summer. She wrote code to transfer dashboards from Microsoft Excel to CoServ’s own database over the summer of her senior year. She graduated in December from the University of North Texas with a degree in Business Computer Information Systems.

Namrata Nag was working toward her masters degree in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas when she interned at CoServ. She wrote code that could collect health data for CoServ’s server, which keeps all the applications running for CoServ Employees.

Abisola Ola recently graduated with a masters in business administration (MBA) from Midwestern State University. She interned as a business analyst with the GIS team, which keeps the maps running smoothly for our Operations crews, engineers and system operators.

Patton Rock (not shown) rode along and shadowed a CoServ linemen crew in the field where he assisted in basic groundman responsibilities, including framing poles, digging, stocking trucks and loading materials. Patton will graduate from high school this year.

Unlock your potential with CoServ's internship program! "At CoServ, we're all about making our internship program a true learning opportunity. With our diverse range of jobs, there's something for everyone, no matter your skills or passions," said Paola Vizcaino, CoServ's Employee Experience Specialist.
