Nominate a teacher for CoServ’s Energizing Educators program

CoServ’s energizing educators program is another way we show appreciation for the great educators who are making a difference in our community.

Congratulations to Marco Gonzalez from Calhoun Middle School in Denton ISD and Lauren Hamilton from Krum Early Education Center in Krum ISD for being selected as an educator!

Recipients receive a $250 donation to their classroom to help buy supplies that aren’t covered by the school’s budget. The campus also receives a separate $250 check.

One parent who nominated Lauren said they did so because of the time and effort she puts into creating a fun and productive learning environment. “My daughter has retained so much knowledge to help her improve her reading skills and much of that is because of the interactive teaching methods Ms. Hamilton uses,” they said. “She dedicates so much time to developing weekly hands-on activities for the kids while keeping parents fully engaged with what’s going on in the classroom.”
