Annual Meetings

At investor-owned companies, annual meetings are exclusive occasions for shareholders only. But things are different at CoServ Electric. As a not-for-profit cooperative, we’re owned by the people we serve – our members like you.

CoServ Electric's 70th Annual Meeting will be Tuesday, June 22 at 5:30 p.m. at the University of North Texas Coliseum.  Two director positions in District 2 and District 7 are up for re-election and the election results will be announced at the Annual Meeting. More details to come about how to RSVP and vote for your board director in the June issue of Texas Co-op Power. Join us for a free barbecue dinner, election results, a business meeting and more at your 2010 Annual Meeting!

We look forward to another evening with our members … Take a look at the top five reasons why you should attend your 2010 Annual Meeting:

  1. Get your questions answered. Visit our information booth to ask specific questions about your bill or account.
  2. Explore energy conservation.  Swing by the Energy Management Team's booth to book an audit to identify energy wasters in your home or business.
  3. Learn the outcome of the board member election. Our service area is divided into seven districts. Every year, the board directors representing two of these districts are up for election. (Every third year, three board members are up for election.) You can vote via mail-in ballot (attached to your June issue of Texas Co-op Power magazine), then attend the annual meeting for the results.
  4. Talk to CoServ’s CEO and the board. Don’t miss the chance to shake hands with your senior leaders and board representatives. Ask CEO Mike Dreyspring in person anything that’s on your mind. Or, you can submit your question beforehand with your  RSVP. Either way, we’ll give you a straight answer.
  5. Enjoy being treated like royalty. This is no run-of-the-mill get-together. We make our annual meeting as special as possible for our members. If you enter the drawing, you have a shot at winning fabulous prizes.
